Evgeny Shevchenko - Growth & Transformation Advisor, Interim CEO
For owners, boards, and private equity in Europe and Central Asia.
20+ years in CEO and senior executive roles in 4 countries.
Teams of 8,000+ people. Forbes Top-3 CEO in Ukraine.
I have seen businesses grow - and fail.
I help with the former. I know how to deal with the latter.
Evgeny Shevchenko
I partner with owners, boards, and private equity to accelerate profitability and scale enterprise value across Europe and Central Asia. I drive growth through strategic and digital transformation, commercial optimization, and governance that supports long-term competitiveness.
Track record: Led Carlsberg Ukraine to #1 market position and 8% of group's global operating profit. Delivered 2.4x EBIT growth at Carlsberg Latvia. Managed commercial organizations of 8,000+ people. Forbes Top-3 CEO in Ukraine (2020). Former board member of AmCham and UN Global Compact.
Whether you need to unlock trapped value, lead transformation initiatives, or navigate complex market expansions - I combine board-level strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution.
IMD Business School (Digital Transformation in Practice, 2025).
Revenue keeps rising, but profit is thinning and turning unpredictable. I help you set clear pricing, bring costs under control, rebalance the asset portfolio, and restore steady cash flow.
Growth has stalled, or some units are underperforming. I streamline operations, sharpen commercial focus, and rebuild momentum for the team with transparent metrics that hold up over time.
I help you build strong corporate governance to support expansion. I give clear, step-by-step recommendations grounded in local specifics - you put them into practice to protect your assets and your licence to operate.
Planning to expand into Europe, or preparing the company for sale to a Western investor. I build a realistic plan grounded in local specifics and put the reporting in order, making the business transparent and attractive.
The technology is in place, yet decisions are still made on gut feel. I embed data and AI into the key processes so they cut costs and speed up management decision-making - rather than sitting in the budget as dead weight.
Every day counts, the team is stuck, and strategy is up in the air. I step in as interim CEO: I keep things moving on the ground, reconcile shareholder decisions with reality, and build a durable management practice.

I don't file reports for the shelf. I find where the business is losing money and put in processes that run without me. The formats differ in depth and duration - from an outside view to interim management. You choose the format that fits your task.
I look at the business through the eyes of a buyer or an incoming CEO. You get an honest picture: where profit leaks, what blocks growth, and a plan for the first steps. Not a report for the shelf.
I install a working management process and personally run the first cycle with your team. The outcome is a mechanism that closes a specific pain and runs without me. World-class operational methods, installed by someone who personally ran Carlsberg in Latvia, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine: No.1 in the Ukrainian market, 8% of the group's global operating profit.

Large turnkey assignments. Often paired with process installation or interim management.
The big projects end, but the important decisions keep getting made alone: hiring top people, capex, a deal, pricing, a new market. I am a standing outside partner who has made these calls before. We work through each one before the money goes in.
The board has its own agenda, the team its own interests, the investor its own account. I do not. So I tell you how it is, not what is pleasant to hear. I do not hand over a deck and leave. I stay until the decision is worked through.
Remote format, on a set cadence, with fast access for urgent questions. A fixed fee per period, no billing by the hour. A partner at a distance, not an operational role. Need presence on site - On-site. Need to run the business hands-on - Interim management.
Interim: I take operational responsibility for a term of three to six months. Crisis support: I set up the crisis HQ and committees and run things as a principal - in the rooms where the key decisions are made.
A visit to the production site, meetings with the team, a strategy session, diagnostics on the ground.
